Checklist to File a Re-Examination Application (repeater or postponer)

The Florida Board of Bar Examiners has developed an applicant portal and now communicates electronically with all applicants. In order for you to receive a ticket to an examination, you must have a portal account through which the board can correspond with you. If you do not have a portal account, please write the board at support@floridabarexam.org to request instructions for creating one.
This checklist will assist you in completing the Re-Examination/Conversion Application. Click the links below to access information or print forms. A ticket of admission will be issued upon receipt of a properly completed Re-Examination/Conversion Application with all required supplemental documents and fee(s) if submitted on or before the timely filing deadline. Re-Examination/Conversion Applications are accepted after the deadline, but late filing fees (escalating until the application and all supplemental documents are received) will be required.

Image of the board's Seal. The central figure on the Seal is a griffin, a universally accepted symbol for vigilance. The griffin is holding the Nordic symbol for fidelity, which comes from Nordic mythology. Beneath the griffin appears the Latin phrase “Clemens iustitiae custodia.” Custodia is the word used for keeping watch in order to protect, and Clementia is used technically for leniency in punishing offenses. Closely translated, this phrase means “Compassionate and vigilant protection of justice.” Expanded, this would mean the watchful protection (or preservation) of justice, a watchful or protective preservation which is compassionate or merciful. The Arabic numerals \"1955\" appear at the bottom of the seal, indicating the year of the creation of the Florida Board of Bar Examiners.Copyright ©2011 - 2024 Florida Board of Bar Examiners.
